The Safe Rotate uses ISOfix to secure the seat into the car which is a really simple and easy way to fit. Once it is fitted, it is straightforward to use the swivel feature, allowing you to turn the seat towards the car door to lift your baby in and out. Always make sure the seat is locked into place either forward or rearward before driving off.
The seat is extended rear-facing, meaning you can keep your child rear-facing until they are 4 years old, which, while being a parental choice, is recommended by the British Medical Journal. If you do decide to move to forward-facing this can be done from 9kg. Either way, your little one is held in place with a 5-point harness, which adjusts automatically with the headrest, so no need for complicated unthreading and rethreading. The harness buckles can also be held out of the way while you put your baby in the seat thanks to the handy buckle holders, making it even easier for you, the parent.
To keep your little one safe, there is reinforced side impact protection and when they are very little you can use the removable infant insert to keep them even more snug and safe. As with the rest of the Mountain Buggy car seat range, the fabrics are plush and quilted for a luxury feel.
